selma was more your mary poppins type,and was created to be a moral compass wheres al was a womenising, fun tormented man. whose wit lets face it made the show what it was

It's more similar to the film and series, "Time Cop." I'm not sure which was written first.

I'm not for certain which was written/conceived first, but "Time Trax" the series predated both the "Time Cop" film and series.

Originality needs a reboot.
