Season 6 had DS9's best episodes...

...and overall some of the best in all of the Star Trek Universe.

IMHO

Definitely, Far Beyond the Stars and In the Pale Moonlight spring immediately to mind.

Those are my 2 favorites.

Spenser with an "S", like the poet.

Those are certainly two of the best episodes of not just DS9, or even Star Trek over all. I think that they're two of the best episodes in TV history.

I also really enjoyed the first 7 episodes, the 6 story arc of the battle for DS9, from both inside and outside, and then the marriage of Worf and Jadzia.

Truly and amazing season.

Destroying an empire to win a war is no victory and ending a battle to save an empire is no defeat

My top choice for best TV episode ever, is probably still "A Stitch In Time" from season 2 of the newer Outer Limits. See it sometime if you can. Chilling and amazing!

And it's got Ensign Ro! This is where I decided to go back and watch her more closely in TNG.

Saw it. Loved the ending.

As a matter of fact, I have a whole DVD collection of Outer Limits episode dealing with time travel. My favorite in the series was the episode "Tribunal" that dealt with the Nazi Hunter traveling back in time with his relative from the future. Saul Rubinek and Alex Diakun portrayed the main characters.

Yes that's good too, but I have to put "Stitch" ahead of it. "Stitch" also figures into one of their "compendium" episodes ("Better Luck Next Time") and into the two-part "Final Appeal" at the end of season 6 which has Charlton Heston too and also includes elements from "Final Exam" in season 4. All good stuff.
