Just finished watching Season 1 Episode "Brothers and Sisters" and I noticed that the shrine to Nana listed her as living from 1978 - 2015. Since the kids were supposedly on there own for three years (with Nana taking care of them for an undetermined time, that would place the episode year from 2016 - 2018 (approx), but the show is supposed to be in 2032.
Is my math right?

The first season took place in 2018. Season 3 took place in 2032. So, your math is incorrect. The first 2 seasons were called "SeaQuest DSV" then the changed the name for the 3rd season to "SeaQuest 2032".

I have to admit that I googled what year season 1 was supposed to take place.
