Can someone explain how this lasted so long?

Did the cast of students turn over? Was it just a cheap show for syndication? Someone please enlighten me.

They kept changing the cast. I didn't realize it lasted 7 seasons though.

That's three quarters! A whole dollar.

I don't get it either. I watched a few episodes of the first season and thought it was kind of dumb. I also can't believe it lasted 7 seasons.
