3 things I've always wondered about the New Class.....

1) Why did it get 7 whole seasons when the Original SBTB only gotten 4 and Good Morning Miss Bliss had gotten barely half a season (13 eps)? In all seriousness, wouldn't they had already noticed that the ratings for this show was already dropping in the first early seasons to think perhaps continuing this series to nearly twice as long as it's predecessors was a good idea or not?

2) Why do they keep changing the students? Only Samantha Esteban who played Maria Lopez lasted the longest.... Why did they kept dropping the characters like flies and getting new ones? If they can't keep the original casts around long enough, then maybe that's saying something about cancelling the series early?! When they lasted for 4 seasons, which was how long the original series lasted, at that point, they already had multiple characters pulled, yet they still tried pulling through another 3 seasons before dropping it....

3) The one thing that always bothered me was the episode(s) where they started reminiscing about their past experiences with their new friends.... including the ones that they just met mere 10+ eps ago... that's barely only a few months worth of time that had passed in their time frame. So how good of a past did they even have together in that small amount of time that made them feel they needed to start reminiscing in that time alone (if that made any sense at all)?

I only ever saw a few episodes of this back in the day. I didn't like it. Also in another topic, a poster said the reason it lasted so long was because it aired every Saturday Morning which didn't require as much significant ratings to keep the show going as it would've if it aired during the week. I myself when finally looking up this show last year am surprised it lasted 7 seasons. I honestly don't think I ever want to watch it.
