A bit off topic: Drinking milk helps ulcer?

I remember this one episode where Lasky is drinking like 3 glasses of milk at once to help relieve his pain in his ulcer. Is this true? Does it work?
My mom has stomach problems, so I was wondering if this remedy works or not?

Sorry to reply so late. Some sites say milk can soothe ulcer pain because it coats the stomach liing, but can make your ulcers worse due to milk producing more acid. Look at the natural remedies on this site to see if they will help.
