No different than them in HS

I recall when I first saw this show that the characters were similiar to those from the HS yrs but had my girls mixed up. Originally pegged Leslie the new version of Jessie (perhaps due to them being both blondes). While Essence Ekins (whom was originally going to be part of the pack) would have been Lisa. But now after rewatching realize this is the line up

Leslie equals Lisa ~ Rich girls w/ high profile family
Alex equals Jessie ~ although Alex is ditzy unlike Jessie she is similiar in fact they both end up with Slater and the couples are always shown arguing.
Michael Rogers equals H.S. Principal ~ Always having issue w/ the guys and given out help

Even the relationships are the same w/ Zach and Kelly reuniting, her fallin for an older man. In College it's Lasky while in HS it was her boss Jeff.
