lisa and jessie went to differen colleges and mr b. stayed at bayside
shareeither that, or they knew better than to join this show...not that i didnt like it, i really did, i loved the show as a matter of fact, but it was not a good show. and maybe they had the foresight to see that it wouldnt last long...even the original only lasted for 4 years, and it is rare (except for law & order) for a spin-off to last longer than the original...
shareIt was already stretching reality with Zack, Slater, Screech and Kelly all going and still hanging out at the same college, but with all six of them would be a bit too much.
shareHere's the thing
From the original show, we know that Jessie went to Stanford (which was in the Bay area too, so why she never visited, we'll never know) and Lisa went to a Fashion Institute in New York.
But what I don't get is Zack not going to Yale, Slater turning down a wrestling scholarship to Iowa, Screech not going to a SoCal college, and Kelly suddenly getting the money to go to a state university, instead of wallowing in community college. All of which was mentioned in the original.
What would Mr. Belding do? It's college, he's a high school principal.

Zack wouldn't go to Yale, moron. He would have to do work all day long. That's not Zack.
Screech goes wherever Zack goes.
Kelly could have easily went to a state college rather than a community. She was working, I'm sure her parents had a fund, and then there is always the 800 college loans.
Jessi went to Columbia, not Stanfurd. She really, really wanted to go there, but went to Columbia instead. I don't remember if she didn't get accepted or just changed her mind. Columbia is better anyway. Anything is better than Stanfurd. (I go to Cal, so that other school is our rival :) )

Her parents were supposed to be on the poor side so how can she have a college fund? That makes no sense despite popualr belief some people don't have college funds!

I haven't seen these shows in a while, but a community college is only good for a two-year degree. If you want a bachelor's or higher, you'll have to go to a four-year college or university. A community college is a good way to start a four-year school with junior status and have some money saved up, however. But with the grants, scholarships, and loans available, it's hard to believe that Kelly couldn't make it if she really wanted to.

Well typed
shareBecause they went to different schools. And why would Mr. Belding be there? that doesnt even make sense. But at least everybody was reunited for the wedding =)
sharewhat about Tori, Violet and Stacy Carosi?
and that other girl Nicki?
What about Miss Bliss???????????
shareThat would have been histerical is they tried to work Mr. Belding in. Thats the worst idea that could have ever happened, he becomes the dean of the college. Much like Mr. Feeney in boy meets world.
shareBelding showed up during the Thanksgiving episode. Belding & Jessie both are in the wedding episode/movie at the end
shareThey changed from Good morning Ms. Bliss to Saved By The Bell with a new cast. If you watch the original Saved By The Bell they were in Indiana not California. When they got rid of Ms. Bliss, Nickie, the two other teachers, and that one kid I cannot remember his name. They spun the show off with Zack, Mr. Belding, Screech, and Lisa and added a few more characters to the show. What I am surprised at is why did they not already add the characters of the new class onto Saved By The Bell through like the second or third season and when Zack, Kelly, Jesse, Slatter, Screech, and Lisa was going to graduate from high school then they could have spun it off into Saved By The Bell The New Class and I think it would have received a lot more ratings that way and the show would have lasted longer that way.
shareJessie became a stripper in Las Vegas...Lisa a doctor in Salem Hospital...and Mr. Belding stayed a principal. Well, that's the way I see it.
If you're never enough without it, you'll never be enough with it.
Well in reality, Elizabeth Berkley and Lark Voorhies were signed on to other projects before they made plans to do the college series. Tiffani was as well which is why she isn't in the pilot, but somehow she managed to come back to do the show. Plus, they already planned the new class show for Mr Belding, which sucked in the beginning since they were just trying to make characters that mirrored the original characters, but then it was okay or at least a little watchable.

It was because the show was only supposed to last for so many episodes but the network ordered more, Jessie and Kelly were already doing other projects so they added in the awful Tori. In the original airing they would use one episode with Jessie and Kelly and then the next week would be with Tori. I googled it lol.

it would've been ridiculis if mr belding joined the gang in college
like what they did in bot meets world when mr Feeney joined the gang in college
thats just the dumbest thing ever.
