The producers of this franchise were so mean

It all started off as "Good Morning Miss Bliss" in 1987. Starring: Haley Mills (Ms Bliss) Mark Paul Gosselaar (Zach) Dustin Diamond (Screech) Max Battimo (Mickey) Heather Hopper (Nicki) Lark Voorheis (Lisa) Dennis Haskins (Mr Belding) Joan Ryan (Tina Palladrino) and the actor who played Milo

When Saved By the Bell came along: Miss Bliss, Mickey and Nikki were dropped, as was Ms Palladrino and Milo, but the two latter were not so vital, so it wasn't too bad. But Miss Bliss, Mickey and Nikki should had been allowed to continue rather than getting shafted.....In place of Nikki and Mickey they get Slater and Kelly, and in addition add Jessie

Now the College years. They drop Jessie and Lisa, and just keep all the boys from Saved by the Bell and Kelly.

I don't think that was nice at all how they treated Lark Voorheis (Lisa) after all her hard work in "Good Morning Miss Bliss" and in "Saved By The Bell" and to just have Jessie on temporarily on the franchise must had pissed her off

They didn't drop Jessie and Lisa.

Both Berkley and Thiessen left "Bell" even before the final episode (they were replaced by Leanna Creel and the episodes were mixed to give the idea they were in the same class). Berkley and Thiessen wanted to try new experiences on TV and films.

Lark Voorhies was working on day-time soap operas when "College Years" was filmed. She reprised her role for the final movie though.
