Strange again why cancel avshow that got 7 million viewers.

A 7.8 rating goes to 20 million viewers. The rating is a percentage of the total US population, which was 257 million in 1993.

I thought 7.8 seemed a bit high, but according to this, one episode had a 9.9, or about 25 million viewers. Wow.

Critics tore this show a new one though, even though the ratings were high. Go figure.

Those numbers are completely wrong. 7.8 does not equal 20 million viewers. 20 million would of made it the #1 show on TV. It averaged 7.3 million viewers for its first season. It was 88th for the year. Kind of ironic 7.3 million viewers got you quickly canceled then but today would be a huge hit. It was stupid of NBC to put it against Full House. They were going after the same audience. NBC would of been better off creating there own TGIF style lineup with Fresh Prince and Blossom.
