She was in one. Just the pilot. She was fired, but I don't know why. And it's still in reruns, I just saw it this morning x)
sharethey got rid of her when they found out they could get tiffany amber theissen back to play kelly. no group of friends can have an odd # of boys vs girls!
Here lies Dobby, a Free Elf.
Chuck Norris' boggart is Neville Longbottom.

Sadly she was ~ it was not due to getting Tiffani on for her leaving but they realized that her character was too much similiar to that of Leslie. Both were the smart ones leaving the other chic on the ledge. And as you stated they really only signed her on due to needing a token character. Sorry to be so blunt but thats even why they finally in an episode decided to pull out the card about A.C. Slater being mexican. They wanted or needed diversity.

I've always wondered why they got rid of her.
I have a friend his name is Denny he got a brother named McDonald and a sister named Wendy!
BabyCarlyle- I think Lizzy was telling a sarcastic joke :)
Lexie? You mean Leslie?
Sometimes I agree that they should've fired her, because she really bugged me, especially -as bad as this may sound- when she had a personality. She reminded me of Jessie too much, and I wasn't really entertained with the whole Zack/Leslie thing anyway. It just made me cringe. It also seemed like they were trying to imitate the begining of the original SBTB- Zack after a girl who won't give him a sure answer. She just irked me. However, once she became more bland and not as opinionated, I grew to like her.
Maybe I'm being biased as an Zack/Kelly fan, but I'm glad they dropped that storyline and continued on with Zack chasing after Kelly.
I do think they shouldnt've booted Danielle, though. She would've been an interesting character and could've come in handy from time to time. She probably would've evolved over time and not seemed like a Lisa-or-Leslie clone. They could've jsut said something like- she wasn't able to live with five other people and decided to get her own dorm room instead of a suite. Or they could've made Kelly live on her own across the hall or something. Although that wouldnt've been nearly as interesting ;)
Just my humble opinion :)

I wish they had of kept Danielle though. Leslie was boring and useless.

I still think Lisa Should have been in college with them. If she wanted to come back they should have kicked out Leslie and brought lisa back. I think Lisa and Alex could have had some good scenes together. I thought they where so funny together in the epiosde Lisa came to vist college before the wedding.

During the time Lark was on contract with the soap Bold and The Beautiful so she couldn't come back. I wish she could have though. I liked her the best out of the SBTB girls.

Are you sure that it was B&B and not DOOL? I remember at the time one of my friends was in the Lark Voohries fan club & she had sent my friend a form letter to sign that she wanted to join the college show.

Sorry, but I never had the address. It was my friend that did. I wasn't a fan of the Lisa character. Also that was a long time ago when SBTB had just went off the air. I think around '93.
shareAgreed. I think they should have kept Essence Atkins even though she was a little like Lisa Turtle. Would have kept diversity and besides, Leslie's character was boring and somewhat like Jesse. No one says that. I think the producers were racist. Normally I wouldn't come to that conclusion, but it seems inescapable to think of when you analyze it.
shareSaved By The Bell always liked to have 1 token black character and 1 token black male or female to be the person boyfriend/girlfriend.
