I don't think C.C got enough credit. She is really pretty and classy
i loved C.C's outfits - I personally thought she looked better than Fran.

She may do, but she is also cold and bossy and frequently spiteful....
shareTrue. I did hate CC the first couple of seasons. After a while, I didn't hate her and looked forward to her quips with Niles.
She was a secondary character, yet Val, Fran's family and Niles got a lot more attention. If only that all evened it out.
Perry: "You, stop multiplying!"
She was classy, but Fran was unique.. Also she was nice and fun and interested in the children, while CC was cold and only cared about one thing.
I feel like CC was actually a lot like Sara.... Her appearance was similar to Sarah's (in the flashbacks we saw) and Mr Sheffield said that the kids were scared of their mother. So he went for someone who was the complete opposite of his dead wife, when CC was available.
But CC was kinda insane lolol.
They purposefully wrote her to be a foil to Fran. They were opposites in all the ways that mattered, and the battle for Max was never an even fight.
shareI personally loved C.C. In a way, she reminds me of the late, great Bea Arthur.
shareLauren Lane is a great actress and played her character with a great deal of depth and substance. She made what potentially could have been a shallow character come to life
Yes, CC was beautifully dressed most of the time. I had a crush on her for the longest time. I also felt very sorry for her at times, despite her character flaws. Again, I think that's a tribute to Lane's acting
Lauren Lane is a beautiful woman and yes, as a straight person myself I found her very attractive. Her character was not meant to be 'pretty' necessarily though, she was meant to be cold and sort of blah. I think Lauren did a great job portraying CC.
