What character should have been a regular?

I would have liked to see more of Poppy. I thought she was fun. I wish there were more episodes with Lilith also. There were lots of other characters I am glad weren't on more, like Julia and Bibi.

I thought the first Poppy episode was a classic - she was hilarious. Then they completely altered her character for her second appearance and I found the episode unbearable. I honestly think she was a one-joke character who was superbly used then dropped, not quite fast enough.

Honestly, it’s hard to answer your question... some of those guest/recurring characters who showed up and hung around for more than an episode or two tended to outstay their welcome (Simon and Julia, for example). I guess it would have been fun to see Dr. Nora again.

Daphne's mother was on much too long. Not sure why they kept her as long as they did. I did like Lana's son, but he probably wouldn't have been a good long term character. There probably aren't any short term characters who would have been good long term characters. I always thought that Roz was kind of a weak character who was even more watered down after she became a mother. Whose idea was that?

reply

i agree. She wasn’t as aggressively obnoxious and overbearing as Simon, but she certainly should have been packed off back to Manchester after a few episodes.

reply

Exactly. Why was she on for so long. She was so obnoxious and it was not fun.

(trembling with indignation and fury) CAM WINSTON!

Absolutely to this!

I would've loved to have seen "Junior Agent" Portia Sanders played by Kristen Chenoweth become a series regular.

Also I loved the one episode each that Tony Goldwyn and Aaron Eckhart featured in toward the end of the series run. Their two episodes are definitely in my top ten which is strange because their characters were one and done, never to be seen again.
