Martin's brother Walt
One of my favorite episodes is Beware of Greeks. The Cranes go to Martin's brother's son's wedding. But in a different episode, Martin said he never had a brother.

shareYes, Martin said it twice that he did not have a brother.
I kinda like this episode but I think they just did not have to come up with the brother story, out of nowhere.
It was not necessary. They could have said it was Martin's cousin or their mother's brother.
kds-lcos: "Yes, Martin said it twice that he did not have a brother."

Just watched Author, Author, and Martin said he didn't have a brother and spoke about a friend named Gus (captions spelled it Goss), and at the end of the episode, Martin said he lied about Goss.
Obviously Frasier would know about the uncle if he estranged the wife, as would Niles, but even when Martin and his brother spoke to one another at the wedding, they didn't have a lot to say to each other, giving a hint they hardly had a Frasier-Niles relationship of sorts.
To me, the weirdest thing about that episode is that actor who played that character is named John Mahon.
shareI like this episode as well, perhaps because my family had two diverse backgrounds from each parent such as this, so it was easy to relate to.

I glad I don't depend on other people's opinions to tell me what I should like. They are very often totally wrong.
