Should Martin have married Sherry?

Ronee didn't fit - the sight of Nina Van Horn in a bad wig with Martin Crane always felt *off* to me. If I had to pick who Martin should have been with (had the writers not ruined the relationships), I'd pick either:

Sherry (the friction with the boys would have worked longterm, and she just fit well with him)

Penelope Janvier (she was more like the cultured Hestser than any other woman we saw Martin with; and Frasier and Niles' desire to please her would have worked longterm. I can't see him staying at Frasier's if he got with her, though.)

I forgot about Cora. She was also sweet, cultured and worked really well with Martin. But she might have been a bit too dull - all the friction would have been between Frasier and Cam. Still, their relationship could have went on for a while.

I thought Sherry was "fun" for Martin, but certainly not marriage material. I mean, the whole series he spent talking about his late wife - the boys' mother - she sounded very special. I think Ronnie was a great fit - - - except for that hideous wig, so silly!

Sherry was worse than any of the Moons.

Yikes!!! Not if he was going to live at Frasier's. You marry that terror, than it's...as Frasier likes to say: "off you go!".
