Introverts/extroverts on Frasier

Being someone who is interested in personality types and is a big frasier fan , i was wondering of which characters on frasier are introverts/extroverts. Ill give my thoughts then say if you agree disagree

Frasier far extrovert i mean hes very good with people has a talk show where he works with people live on the radio. an Introvert would have a hard time being on the radio and/or being a psychiatrist or any other mental health proffesional.

Niles far Extrovert like Frasier hes a psychiatrist which means at least in his profesional setting (where he would spend a lot of his time) he has to be very good with people and personable. Hes very neurotic but there are plenty of neurotic extroverts.

Martin I think he could go either way, he does seem to like people but he seems to like to spend a lot of time alone. Tough one.

Daphne is certainly extroverted and very talkative and personable

And then Frasiers co workers I mean people who do radio shows certainly takes one to be very confident and outgoing I feel this is a show of extroverts.

I think most characters will appear to be extroverts on TV shows, even if they are actually introverts. Especially in sitcoms, they are not really going to be shown sitting by themselves in an introspective mode. They are shown interacting and talking with other characters. I would actually think Niles and Martin are both introverts. Frasier, Roz, and Daphne seem like extroverts.

I'm a practitioner in Jungian psychometric profiling and your rationale isn't quite right. Introversion and extraversion refers to how individuals energise themselves. Introverts energise from within, extraverts from without. Introverts need time and space to themselves; extraverts prefer to be in the company of others and to engage with the world more. So:

Frasier: Extravert
Involved
Responsive
Engaging
Talkative

Niles: Introvert
Quiet
Observant
Depth-focused
Reflective
Niles is perfectly happy at the Montana, rattling around in that vast apartment. He is socially awkward and shy, suggesting he doesn't have as much experience relating to others in a natural way. As a psychiatrist, his introversion would serve him well - being able to listen, observe, reflect and use deep, probing questions. Frasier would likely find himself providing answers to his patients, rather than helping them discover solutions for themselves.

Martin: Extravert
Involved
Responsive
Engaging
Talkative
He spends time in the apartment for the purposes of the show; in reality, he'd spend a lot more time at McGinty's or the dog park. Notice how keen he is for "Eddie" to be invited to the dog party downstairs, when it's really Marty who wants to go. As the show evolved, Marty was presented as a real people person.

Daphne: Extravert
Sociable
Responsive
Engaging
Talkative

The on-air talent, I agree, are mostly extraverts.
