Marty and Cora's kiss

Watched The Love You Fake recently. The kiss between Marty and Cora was the most stilted thing I've ever seen! It was like John Mahoney said, "I'll press my face up against hers, but there's no way I'm parting my lips!"

On another note, the dynamic between Frasier and Cam in this episode is genius. Would liked to have seen more of them.

"Dangling Ivy looks nothing like marijuana!"
"Well I'm sure I wouldn't know..."

"I think they're downstairs watching Court TV."
"It's all about the romance with you Cranes, isn't it?"

"All right, I will give you the name of my sweater weaver. BUT - I must insist on the recipe for your bath blend..."

"Cam and I are now officially friends!"
"As defined by the treaty..."

yeah, Marty really wasn't an enthusiastic kisser, with all his gals- pursed lips!

as for cam- he and Frasier really had chemistry

shame then that cam Winstons appearances were so few.

Cam Winston should've appeared in many more episodes. The hate dynamic between him and Frasier was made all the funnier because Cam was basically Frasier's brother from another mother. They have the same fussiness and taste for the finer things in life.

I knew the actor who plays Cam, Brian Stokes Mitchell, was in Trapper John, M.D., but I had no idea until recently that he is quite the accomplished singer and a Tony winning Broadway performer. The Frasier writers really could've done something with this because Kelsey Grammer also sings. A Cam and Frasier sing-off would've been in order, but Cam would've been the clear victor. Brian Stokes Mitchell has a baritone voice for the ages.
