anyone seen the Girl Meets World with Shawn father?

I tuned in late to the show about 5 minutes before it was getting ready to go off and I saw Shawn and Shawn father or the guy that played Shawn father I didn't know what his character was supposed to be on Girl Meets World. I kept thinking to myself Shawn father passed away on Boy Meets World.

He was playing Shawn's father in Shawn's imagination.

The actor, Blake Clark, he continued to play Chet Hunter on BMW after the character died. he was a figment of Shawn's imagination. They just used the actor as a visual

And did the same on GMW
