Season 7 "predicted" future?

Does season 7 episode 16 "predicts" future in Girl Meets World?

* Cory and Topanga have a daughter, altough not named Riley and not born in 2001
* Eric is Playe Mr. Squirrels
* Shawn is roadie and not found love yet
* Mr. Feeny retired

I think partly.

Cory and Topanga do have a daughter.
Eric did adopt the Mr. Squirrels persona.
Shawn is a traveling writer
Jack does work in big business.
Mr. Feeny is retired.
We know Angela is married, but not about her career.
We still don't know what happened to Rachel.

Every thing else seems to be false.

I like to believe that Rachel met a guy in the Peace Corps, got married, moved to Texas. Had a kid. Got divorced and moved to New York. I think she's Lucas' mother.

It is interesting that some of that is true about the future & Girl Meets World.

That episode actually predicts the future pretty accurately. The reunion is set in 2006, which means that Riley would have been born already. The only part that wasn't right was the reasons everyone drifted apart. It wasn't because of "the war" like that vision had predicted, but due to life and life responsibilities.

Not to be smart, but maybe that was the intention when they came up with Girl Meets World, to loosely fulfill the 'future' from 'The War' episode.

The reunion happened in 2006 but in GMW Riley is born in 2001 wich would make her 5 years old at that reunion but case is that their daughter probably born in 2005.

I know this is your signature but you write and organize your writing a lot better than those in the business of writing for communication.

In any event... I think the 'predicted future' scene was a daydream. They don't do the musical intro or the purple/pink/whatever spraypaint edges the scenes are still imagined.

Notice how both Cory and Topanga are A LOT COOLER/RELAXED LOOKING IN GMW. In this imagined future both Cory and Topanga look like stiff librarians almost.

I guess the writers also imagined what professionals looked and acted like in 2006.

Reading the paper can really be depressing. Mr. Dithers fired Dagwood again.
