Do you think she was a Mary-Sue?
Here's a definition of Mary-Sue:

A Mary Sue is a character that the author identifies with so strongly that the story is warped by it. She can be described as a female character who is so perfect as to be annoying.

Examples of this type of self-insert (I mean, character) include Bella Swan from Twilight, CeCe and Rocky from Shake it Up, and Bloom from Winx Club.

She's still like that now in GMW. One of her best moments, demanding Superintendent Turner to change an A- she received from him in HS to be turned into an A. That and she hates the way one of her son's friend's always mispronounces his name (Dewey but the kid pronounces it as Doi)
