How do Cory and Topenga Get back together after she moves to Pittsburgh?
shareI thought this was kind of lame. These two are going on and on about being together for the rest of their lives and they couldn't even deal with being apart for a year. They acted like it was the worst tragedy in the world. Just like Topanga turning down Yale to go to some random college just so she wouldn't have to leave Cory. These two were codependent and unhealthy, and it's kind of lame that they ended up living happily ever after.

I remember this episode so well from the fourth season.
I think this is when the serious drama started.
This was also when they started the whole 'together forever' stuff and changed their history as if they were together since birth.
Until this episode, we didn't know how long they were supposed to last. Most people grow apart from their highschool sweethearts.
That's why it wasn't a surprise when Topanga proposed to Cory during their graduation. We already knew the show was going to make them 'destined' to be together for eternity

shareShe (presumably) took a bus or train from Pittsburgh to Philly, without her parents' knowledge or consent. It happens in the very next episode after she leaves. She shows up the door suddenly.
At first, Corey's parents criticized Topanga for running away. But once Corey expressed his "love" for Topanga, Corey's parents changed their view. They spoke to Topanga's aunt, and Topanga's aunt allowed Topanga to live with her in Philly.
I did not like this episode. Way too syrupy and over-dramatic.
