Is there a better stronger teenager/young adult friendship on tv? I realize the show is no longer running, but just think about how strong it was. They went through so much together, and they stuck it out no matter what happened. They got into trouble together, they fought over stupid stuff, they always came back to being friends, they were there for each other through anything and everything, and they were extremely close. And it wasn't just cory and shawn. Topanga, eric, mister feeny, and josh turner all saw how close they were and brought them back together as friends every tie they fought. Even corys parents more then once referred to shawn as famiy. There are many great element to this show, but the friendship between cory and shawn is definitely one of the strongest

I really don't think there is :)

Particularly between two teenage boys! I think you can find some pretty strong, intimate teenage girl friendships on TV, but it's really rare to see a representation of such a strong bond between boys. As much as the jokes about them essentially being a married couple (which is so true xD) are hilarious, I just really love, especially in watching the series back now as a 25-year-old, that the strength of their relationship was never a question of their sexualities and they never felt self conscious about expressing their love for one another or anything like that. They were probably the most important people in each other's lives, and everyone in their lives knew that, and I just wish there were more best friendships like that in today's TV :)

Cory and Topanga may be relationship goals in life, but Cory and Shawn are even more so my friendship goals!

I agree. I love strong, platonic friendships in television. Unfortunately, it's rare in both male-male relationships and male-female relationships.
