I remember seeing this movie during my teenage years and wondered what it would be like to do it on the driver side of a police car. has anyone ever tried it (in your own car)? Sometimes I fantasize about it when I'm driving, but I always get this weird feeling that it would be uncomfortable to have the stationary steering wheel causing the space to be very cramped.
Any thoughts?

shareAs a police officer, I can tell you that most police cars are Ford Crown Victorias or Chevrolet Impala sedans (and in this case, a Chevrolet Caprice)and, with prisoner plexi-glass partitions dividing the front and back seat areas, you can only move the seat back so far, as well as recline the seat back. Also, the center console (where the radios, light bar switches, mobile computer terminals, etc...) sits between the two front seats. VERY EROTIC SEX SCENE, but, unless both sex partners are midgets and/or contortionists, next to impossible. Hope this sheds some light, and sorry if I ruined fantasy with reality...

are the police car setups the same during the early 1990s when this movie was based? I haven't seen the movie in a while, but seems like there was barely anything in the front of the vehicle. but I understand your point. very interesting, thanks for sharing that.
shareI read your post, and I just had to see that scene again to confirm a few things. The car used is an early 1990's model Chevy Caprice. The car did not appear to have a prisoner screen (plexiglass, cage or otherwise) -separating the back and front seat areas. The radio/light/PA console (where her left leg would be!#$%@) does not appear to be there nor does the mobile data computer terminal. This appeared to be a marked patrol unit that would likely have had all of those items installed in the vehicle during the early 1990s.

I have had sex in many different types of cars, and a used crown vic police car. In the front seat, it wasen't too bad. I preferred having sex in my 4 door crewcab 1 ton chevy for obvious reasons.
A funny story, last november me and my GF at the time were looking for a place to (you know what, driving in that big chevy). Thank gawd it was an extremely foggy night (I live in seattle although we were in sea-tac), we found a parking lot in a shopping store plaza really close to a blockbuster.
After we were down she got out buck naked to get some fresh air, I was freaking that somebody would see us and call the cops. Later on we joked that we would be on the news the next day,cuz I could have sworn that we were in the nearby store's CCTV camera view. It further freaked me because as most of you who live in seattle know, that sea-tac has had a prostitue problem since the 80s.
Yeah, its pretty realistic, because its not very comfortable, but i can tell you its sexy as anything and a real turn on. Plus the windows would get steamed up like that if the two of them were really going at it.

heyy guys very interesting topic. ya i think the scene is very hot, and also a little hard to imagine...it would be really uncomfortable for the car with the wheel and everything, so i guess the back seat would make more sense. maybe its the idea that he wants to be in the drivers seat or in control? thats all i can think of. neways if i had ray liotta in the front seat, i think we'd make it work!
