wrong ending (spoiler)

I am so sick of these generic endings where the main character kills the villain. Death is NOT bad enough for some people, in fact recently the former dictator of Egypt was given a life sentence and there was protest, many of his enemies wanted him killed but I am GLAD because life in prison is a way better punishment for despots and evil people than death is. Movies like KUNJITE FORBIDDEN SUBJECTS with Charles Bronson or AN INNOCENT MAN with Tom Sellick have very creative endings where instead of killing the main villain the villain is sent to prison and the fact that the villain is screwed is made very obvious.

I would have loved to have seen the crooked psycho cop end up in prison himself for life and having to suffer with being a former cop in prison, maybe a gang rape scene (similar to the one at the end of BLOOD AND BONE). Just killing the guy was letting him off easy.

Oh and if he really wanted to shoot the guy he could have shot the guy in the LEGS to avoid killing him that way he would be a CRIPPLE in prison!
