Anyone sympathize with Pete Davis?

I for one liked Davis.

reply

I sympathize because i've been in his shoes.I know what it's like to fall for a woman with extreme beauty and married but sometimes a woman catches your eye and goes straight to the heart. It can and has happen to alot of guys.

I'm kind of dealing with that right now. There's a beautiful girl at work and I can't get my mind off her. It also looks like another dude here has gotten a hold of her. I may have to resort to some Pete Davis-action here. :P

Careful, you know how Pete ended up.......

I can do you one better. How about falling for a woman who is not married, yet you still can't have her? That SUCKS egg shells. At least when you fall for a married woman, you always know in your mind that there is NO chance due to her being married, but when you fall for one that is unmarried, well, that is just torture because there could be that chance, it's just that she's not interested, which in essence means she is choosing to be alone over you! I would say that that is worse.

We're mad at Mike. Do you know who we're mad at? Mike? You dang right!

I felt a little bad that he was alone, but that could have been because he was a psycho!
I stopped feeling at all bad for him when he killed Roy! That poor guy was his friend, and didn't deserve that!

"Didn't he discover America?"
"Penfold, shush."

I just saw "The Roommate" tonight and I came to a rather sobering conclusion:

I identify with the psycho.

I felt sorry for him to an extent because Mike coulda been a little nicer to him despite the fact that Pete was a little rough on the burglar. But then again, this was no typical break-in, either..... The guy did put a knife to karens throat changing the crime to attempted murder and endangering her life so I feel the same as Karen said when she failed to share the sympathy with Michael for the scum who broke in to their home and threatened her life. But, Pete took it a little far after Michael expressed his disapproval for the extreme punishment of the burglar even though I felt Michael shoulda got in a few revenge hits in himself because let's face it, the burglar never showed any mercy or responsibility for his actions so why should Michael? But, as much as I hate to admit it, Michael did the right thing in restraining himself and letting the law take care of it legally and civil because if he woulda taken it upon himself to commence an all out butt whippin on the burglar, he wouldn't have been any better of a person as the burglar. Although an eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth applies in my book, things like this aren't handled that way anymore.

Sounds like Pete Davis was a convincing sociopath since he dupped all of you. This guy was a cold blooded killer who hid it with charm. I applaud Michael for figuring this guy early bc he fooled everyone else including Karen. Its a testament to Ray Liottas acting. Pete was a dangerous manipulative psychopath from the start
