It pisses me off thoroughly when women in movies play such pathetic victims. She knew where Pete's gun was (in the kitchen drawer) yet, when Pete is practically killing her husband, what does she do? runs up to the bathroom and locks herself in. Wouldn't a normal woman grab the gun and shoot him? no, instead, we have to wait for the husband to be the big hero. Why couldn't she have been the heroine here?

I think she just panicked and ran for it.

But Karen in this whole film pissed me off. She was such a whiner, a helpless idiot. That whole "I'm scared-till-Michael-comes-home' bit made me sick to my stomach.
And how could she not see at least somewhat how Pete was?? Was her crotch ruling her or what?

If you're responding to the guy that enquired (implied) if Karen's crotch was ruling her head*, then please shut the ^%&* up.

As if "cheating" or thinking about other partners is entirely a "male sensibility".

Yes, women have these dirty thoughts too. It's a part of life, they're human. Grow up.

Besides, in the movie she was clearly flirting with Pete when they shared a drink together.
