Was Pete gay?
The early part of the film was very gay-ish.
Obviously by the end, he was only after Karen and Mike was just in his way...but at the beginning, he seems to go out of his way and "knows" there the burglar was when he caught him. Then drops off Cole before he tells Mike "got one last errand to run" before staring at him, close-up.
Then later on, he goes to Mike's club or place of business...and looks for Mike first. Was he even aware Karen was in the building?
Half the time, you couldn't really tell what he was after.
