The Only Thing I Wanted to Know While Watching the Missing Pieces

When the 'Man from Another Place' tells Cooper that he's going home, does that really mean he's going home as the possessed Cooper? I don't see anything that gave us a more definite conclusion, and that's truly the only thing I was curious about. Did I miss some other bonus features that give some more definition?

All in all, it was interesting to see the deleted scenes, but somehow they didn't seem essential. Maybe if the right ones were reimplemented in the film, I would have a slightly different outlook.

in a non-deleted scene with MFAP, gerard, bob and leland in red room (which is placed in the script right before the deja-vu encounter between coop and MFAP) MFAP is saying "Bob, you're not going home without me. I want all my garmonbozia." so i assume that home means convenience store? though it doesn't make sense in regards to cooper scene, where the simplest explanation is that MFAP means that coop's body possessed by bob is returning to our world (especially since that scene cuts to annie in the hospital). diffrent explanation might be that coop is one of the figures in convenience store (perhaps monkey) hence jeffries recognizes him after his brief visit there ("Who do you think that is there?"). and since lodge spirits doesn't seem to percieve time the way we do they might consider coop to be the old inhabitant of the lodge. interesting to note is the way extended jeffries scene is edited implies that his visit to convenience store take place between his dissapearance at buenos aires and appearance in fbi hq, while in the script and in the film it seems to be the flashback to an earlier event "I found something... in Seattle at Judy's... And then, there they were..." (although since in the movie we don't see buenos aires footage the convenience store sequence might still take place right before jeffries appearance), also in the script whole jeffries scene takes place 1 year after desmond dissapearance, while both in the film and in the deleted scenes these two events occur stimultenously. also extended jeffries scene suggest that jeffries was used as a bait by bob in order to drag coop to the black lodge, as we see close-up of bob laughing mouth after jeffries is transported back to buenos aires.
