I'm sorry, but a remake is a TERRIBLE idea, and Tim Burton would've been completely wrong for this. He would've made the film too dark. Then there's Ritter and Dawber - the fact that they became famous for their television roles made them perfectly suited for the roles, and their chemistry was unmatchable. Any remake with other actors will be completely unwatchable, like I'm sure the new Casino Royale will be.

I guess I can agree. The movie could have a remake. It is not that old, and it wasn't perfect, but it was very good (To me), which would classify it a remake. However, Tim Burton would be a bad choice. A very good director, I love just about everything he's done. Mars Attacks is perhaps the only movie I cannot finish after seeing it the first time. However, I do not think he would do it, considering he would have to parody pop culture, which you just do not see him do, and I think it would be too frightening to see that.

I really want to have a sequel, but sadly, I think the only thing we can accept is even remotely appropriate with a guy with a remote would have to be Click. Unless a remake is offered to us, That's the best we will get.
