DVD Commentary?

Did any DVD releases of Sister Act have a director's commentary on it? I found a short clip on YouTube of a director's commentary https://youtu.be/KeX31rNZQvA but I'm wondering where I can find the full thing. I remember renting the DVD a few years ago and I'm pretty sure it did not have an option to view the film with commentary. I only remember it having a short featurette on the making of the film. But anyway, I'd really like to know where I can find the complete commentary.

I doubt this will ever be released. DVDs weren't invented until 1995, and the director of this film, Emile Ardolino, died in 1993. Prior to DVD it wasn't common practice to record a director's commentary, as 99% of the home market was VHS, which didn't have the ability to play an alternate audio track like on DVD. I could be wrong on how prevalent this was, but that is my understanding.

The only real hope would be if he did one for LaserDisc, although that format never really caught on. A quick Google search shows a LaserDisc of the film does exist, but I don't see anything about a director's commentary.

Also that is obviously not a *real* commentary track in the YouTube clip. It's a joke. I'm assuming you were asking as a legitimate question, and weren't trying to be funny.

Ahh yeah, now that I watch it again and pay closer attention, I can see that it's obviously a joke. Lol.
