Mr Orange shouldn't have told Mr White he was a policeman

What did it accomplish? White may or may not have killed him because of it. White got gunned down by police officers. He went to his grave a broken and devastated man because his young apprentice betrayed him. Hell, if Orange didn't say anything, I think White would have surrendered to the police and lived. He may well have died in prison but I'm sure Orange could have pulled a favour or two for him.

It was just an all around bad thing to say given the circumstances.

And then the movie would be over.

reply

Orange was just feeling guilty.

Even if White surrended and lived, he would still be a broken man. He killed his two close friends to save Orange.

reply

Orange also thought he was gonna die, so it was like a deathbed confession.

reply

If he told him, he should have done it before they all shot each other.

reply

he thought they were both f'd anyway so he wanted to die after an honest confession

reply

Rational thinking may not be his thing at that point - he is gutshot, almost everyone is dead or badly wounded etc.

He had gotten shot twice. He spent the whole movie in agony. He was going to die anyways. Not really surprised he told him, but he shouldn't have been surprised when White put the gun to him.
