Tarantino's tightest film

Although I love Django, after the big shootout it drags a bit and loses its pacing.
This film is his tightest and doesn't drag in any parts. Although I don't think this is his best film, it is his best paced film.
Maybe it's because it was his first film and he was cautious about it being too long.
although I love that tarantinos films are usually on for about 2 and a half hours, it would be interesting to see him make a shorter snappier crime film like reservoir dogs again.

it was his tightest because it was his first movie.

I just commented on another post, ranking his films and such etc, and at the end I stated the same thing... I'd love to see him make another film like RD. A nice little Crime Caper but with his sharpened skills.

Kind of like what The Hateful Eight should have been.

Very similar premise to RD

This one is lean and mean. With bigger budgets Tarantino seems to have more room for excess.
