i agree i thought drew was beautiful in this movie!!! <3333
shareI loved the way she transformed her look through the film. In the beginning she wears the leather jacket and her hair is all wild. Then her look begins to change into something more elegant. The red blazer, the dress at the cocktail party. then her hair is straight, and she begins to resemble Sylvie's mother Georgie, which is no mistake. I thought that was creepy the way she knew how to work her way into that family by replacing the dying mother. I think this film is so underrated.

I first watched this film on TV in 1994 when I was sixteen, and I copied Ivy's look - leather jacket, short flary skirt and boots. I didn't quite dare to dye my hair blonde and wear red lipstick though! No one ever knew where I got my new image and confidence from, because no one else I knew had seen the film.
Poison Ivy is very dear to me because every time I watch it I remember my youth and how innocent I was then.

I was a Sylvie, longing to be an Ivy.
Vice, Virtue. It's best not to be too moral. You cheat yourself out of too much *life*.
