Clearly this movie is terrible
But that's why I like it! I have a weird liking for Barrymore's early cheap B movies.

Haha. I love Drew Barrymore, but she was so terrible. All the other actors were poor and unbelievable. Weak script. Nothing special in the cinematography. Lack of quality audio. Just simply a fail attempt at a modern Lolita. No need to further justify the obvious. If you think otherwise, props to you, but you need see more movies of superior quality - you will be blown away.

I've been watching a lot of films from the 90s and there is something about those films that left you thinking, wondering and had some kind of deep impression in me. Seems that they all concentrated on what they wanted to show and make people feel. Movies were for sure not made for everyone, which makes them even that much better.

If you read my first post, I said I liked it. I just don't like typing essays on IMDb like some others users seem to enjoy doing. Besides, what I said was purely my opinion. Even if I wrote a long justified reply, you would not feel any differently about it.
shareYou don't eat things that you find terrible tasting, now do you? If you liked the movie, then you actually find it rather good. Twilight is terrible, do you also like it? I don't. But I do like Poison Ivy, so it's good by me.
How can you not aprreciate the beautiful visuals, climatic settings and especially the magical score? That sounds like a pretty decent movie to me. The acting is far from terrible by the way. Everyone did great and believalbe in their roles.
