When this was filmed...

How old was Drew Barrymore? I mean it appeared at Sundance which is always held in January and it was 1992 of that year so I imagine 16, maybe 17. Not that it matters, but I wonder if this film were made today would the filmmakers get away with using an actress of that age in the film for those scenes. I read something once that Jaime Pressly was her body double but I find that absurd; mostly because Jaime Pressly is younger than Drew Barrymore. It appeared to be Drew Barrymore in the more graphic scenes and even if it wasn't there was still a good amount of sexuality that was simulated between her and Tom skerrit that clearly wasn't a body double. It just seems that people are so much less accepting of performers doing thier job and forget it really is just acting.
