Who was crazier Ivy or Adrienne from The Crush?

I like both movies and both girls were really wild but who do you think was more insane? If they ever got together they would reek all kinds of havoc.

The are both underrated too.

If I had to choose between the two JayKay00 it would have to be Adrienne she was more of a ( insane ) spoiled child . Who never wanted to be said no to and had everything she could ever want . Still it wasn't good enough for her . Ivy seemed more needy for a normal family life . Which she never had so she seemed more desperate to obtain these things . Right or wrong for her it was survival no matter what . I agree too both movies where underrated . These movies deserved more than they received . Thanks so much for this very original subject post .

Adrian/Darian from The Crush for sure. Lets not forget she faked a rape with a used condom!

I say Darian from The Crush. Ivy was a terror, but she seemed more damaged and wanted to connect with someone and saw a life she admired because she really had nothing. Darian was a spoiled brat that had it all and whose hormones and privilege made her feel entitled to do what she pleased. They were both very wrong and tragically flawed, but Ivy was more relatable or understandable.

I think Darian from The Crush was MUCH smarter, therefore more crazy and dangerous.

Arienne by far!

Actually her name was Darian in the Crush. Years later, it was discovered that the director based the story on a real life person he knew and they sued. The studio was forced to change all of the dialogue in the movie from Darian to Adrien and if im not mistaken spent a lot of money doing so to fix the movie - after it had already ran in theatres and home video.

Oh wow! I didn't know that. When people started referring to her on the boards as Adrienne/Darian, it started to dawn me...oh yeah, I thought her name WAS Darian (back when I watched it years ago.)

They are the same age and kind of the same characters, thinking they are powerful and invincible just because they are pretty. But they are very different at core. Adrienne is full on messed up, she just wants to cause trouble for the sake of causing trouble. She almost seems unaware of the damage she's causing others while pursuing this.

Ivy on the other hand, is the more complex character of the two. She seems aware of what she's doing, and she has a legit reason for it. She even feels somehow guilty over some of the things she does, but she has this idea that it's ok to do bad stuff as long as you have a reason or you care or it's for love. You know, she kills the dog because she thinks she's doing him a favor. It's a bad thing to do, but she thinks it's justified.

Ivy wasn't scary, Ivy was sad and lost. Adrienne had real issues and problems, she wasn't normal. That's what I think.

It angers me that they got a Jewish actress (Alicia Silverstone) to play a wealthy spoiled brat and a WASP actress (Drew Barrymore) to play a poor 'white trash' girl from a broken home. Once again Hollywood is demonstrating its hatred of Jewish women, and promoting offensive 'Jewish American Princess' stereotypes, despite the oppression Jewish people, men and women, have experienced throughout the centuries.

I know these films are unrelated but Silverstone and Barrymore should have swapped roles.

I get what you're saying, but I don't think it's that political. The character that Alicia Silverstone played wasn't a Jewish character in the film. She was playing a WASP, unless I missed something.
