Why didn't the film crew at the start..

You know actually try to stop the mom from getting burnt to a crisp? I know it's a movie and all and preventing the mom from being super fried woulda prevented the plot from going in motion, but dang even the crews on real life tragic accidents during movie filmings worked better than they did. How Jeff and the dad didn't sue them until Kingdom come I'll never know.

The director didn't do a thing besides yell.. the manly stagehands stood around when she was frying on the fence, 2-3 guys could came in and pulled or tackled her off and it woulda saved her life. SO, so dumb.

I always assumed they panicked and/or didn't want to get electrocuted themselves. The least they could of did was run to cut the power off.

Do you understand how electricity works? No one could touch her, or they would also be electrocuted. It's not different than touching the fence. They were trying to cut the power, because that is all they can do.
