What breed of dog is Zowie?

He's an absolutely stunning dog. I was thinking he must be a Malamute, German Sheperd cross but can't find any pics of that that come close.

Zowie seems to be either a white husky (blue eyes are a bit of a give away since Malamutes always have brown eyes, as do shepherds) or a husky crossed with a samoyed.
