Doesn't it seem Jeff loved his mother in a incestuous way? Don't want to sound sick but look at his expression at the end of the movie when his mother came back, he has lust in his eyes. :O

I think he was pretty much cracked by that point. I think that was a lust for power that he was able to bring her back.

yeah, I think it was the fact that his mind was seriously close to dropping off the edge that gave him that 'lustful look'. I mean, his best(and only!)friend was just killed in a horrible car 'accident' his dad is a little iffy at this point with him and well, he saw Gus and Zowie after they came back from the dead. Tell me that wouldn't screw with your mind a little!

In the screenplay, he was tearful, thinking by some miracle that his mother (spiritually-not) had been spared the evil influence of the burial grounds.

personally i thought the kid was way to into his mom and bringing her back, he had already learned the hard way more than once that when they come back, things just ain't kosher. jeff was really pretty effin creepy. that look in his eye made me want to take a shower and wash the sin off of me.

Well his mom really was a cute apple so why shouldnt he be lustful? Im pretty sure if people that are religious would probably at that point have said he'd be going to hell anyways so why not do his mother to? :)

You may wish to stray away from incest or other acts deemed wrong for other reasons than the fear of burning in hell, you know. There is much more to it than that. I don't even believe Hell exists, but that doesn't mean I'll bang family members and do whatever the hell I please. Religion is not what keeps me from murdering.

But yeah, to lay with the person you were once growing inside of... To have your Mother give birth to you, then grow up and return to "enter" her sexually... To potentially make pregnant the woman that once carried you... Surely that strikes you as odd?

Hm. I suppose there might be some people out there who see it as a logical circle.
