Whatever happens to Rachel Creed's character from the first movie?

It's implied she kills Louis before the credits roll. Wouldn't she still be wandering around possessed by the sematary? I haven't seen this sequel in a long time. I think I read somewhere that they mention the Creed house in this film. Seems weird they don't mention whatever happens to Rachel in this sequel. Open-ended I guess.

They don't mention what happened to Rachel in the second one. When Clyde and all the boys are at Pet Sematary he talks about Ellie Creed and how she killed the grandparents with an axe and was put into a psycho ward. But who knows of that was "true" or just some scary story he was telling for Halloween.

With Rachel... I always thought that she was killed. Yeah it's implied that she was going to stab and kill Lewis. But maybe he was able to inject her or stab/shoot her before he died? I doubt she would have been left to Just roam around.

I'm sure the Ellie thing was made up as a ghost story as she is living with her grandparents now after finding out the murders that happened.

But i'm sure the demon possessed Rachel who stabbed Louis in one of his sides as he fought back with a weapon and died after that.

Wait.. I'm watching this now and I was wrong. They do mention Rachel in this movie. When Chase is visiting Dr Yolanda (Yolander?) he says that on that Rachel was killed for the second time (on the night she came back and killed Lewis).

If they did they would have changed the ending of the original movie/novel. In the book, it's not clear if she comes back at all as it ends right after Louis has buried her. And why is it important anyway?

This is an entirely different movie, that I'm sure Stephen King himself is not too happy with.

Just watch it as a stand alone movie and don't compare or think about the original as the original is 100 times better and actually based on Kings novel. This movie is not based on his novel at all. It's the same universe but that's the only similarities.

"the original as the original is 100 times better and actually based on Kings novel."

Not really.

@krycek

So I guess the part where Rachael walks into the kitchen and calls Louis "Darling" doesn't actually happen?
