Did anybody else think it was dumb when..?

...after Cutter took the gun from the henchwoman and knocked her out, he gave the gun to the pilot, and told him to keep it on her. He then faced the last armed terrorist, unarmed! I think it was stupid of him not to keep the gun.

Maybe Cutter thinks the henchwoman (Sabrina) was more dangerous. By the way, can you imagine how Sabrina must have feel when she regain consciousness and found out that police is all over her? Minutes ago, they are still in control of the plane.

reply

Charles Rane was concious and armed. He's cleary more dangerous.

C'mon the whole movie was dumb!

When the plane lands the first time, Cutter jumps off, while Marti is caught by the hijackers. Rane decides to keep her to serve the hostages instead of just shooting this troublemaker in the head. That was DUMB.

He says "kill her if she gives you any trouble." Immediately she puts on an attitude and struggles with the guy guarding her, but he forgets to shoot her. That was DUM-DUM-DUM!

What's the matter with you people? Can't you watch a movie and enjoy it? It seems like everyone is a film critic. What happened to seeing a movie and enjoying it? Every movie has flubs and inconsistencies, but they do not detract from the movie. What happened to everyone's imagination? I don't think I have ever seen a bad movie because I appreciate the fact that someone had an idea and actually saw it to fruition. You Hollywood spoiled brats need to take a look at some of these "B" movies and appreciate the value of good, genuine entertainment. Sure, Passenger 57 is no Die Hard, but it is just as entertaining. And where the hell do you people get off comparing those movies? They are very dissimmilar. It also seems that everyone is missing the racial/patriotic issues in this movie. The english guy is a racist, he hates black guys. And most of the movie is a revenge rampage on the part of Cutter. He equally hates this english bastard. This is a great movie, and all you movie haters should form your own country or something where you can constantly be negative. Call it Pessimistica. You can admit all the Liberals.
Yours truly,
Mr. Movie Lover

Well, first of all, he was good in the martial arts, remember? Second, maybe he didn't want to take the chance of it going off and he kills someone innocent on the plane. Also, maybe he needed the captain to use the gun on Sabrina, in case she woke up.

reply

its simple because last time Wesley Snipes had a gun he was met with a hostage stand off. Since he has no gun he has to use stealth and was able to get the bad guy by martial arts.

Cutter didn't want to shoot Sabrina simply because she was a hot terrorist. He did not hesitate a bit in killing other guy terrorist. I was hoping that Sabrina can regain consciousness, stole the gun and kill the pilots and face with Cutter again.

You needed one terrorist to be arrested for intel to see if there were any more related plots...
