Was anyone else a little annoyed at how many times Snipes kicks/punches the bad guys in the jewels?

I found that really gay. What ever happened to senseless beatings?

Yeah, I noticed that too. They seemed to really zoom in on it too when it happened instead of leaving it to your imagination.

For some reason crotch hitting was really big in the 90s. Every action flick had it. I don't see it as often now, but I'm sure it's still effective.

I, for one, was thrilled by the amount of crotch bashings/slappings prevalent in this movie. During my attacks on various people in the downtown area of my city, I have found that nothing is more useful to fend me off than a swift kick to the genitals.

To finally see a character that knows how to hit em, and knows how to make it count, really struck a chord with me. When I mug people now, I do it with 'protection'. Thank you John Cutter.

Usually one good crotch kick will disable an opponent.

Don't forget that the bad guy gave as good as he got. Charles Rane's repeated kicking of John Cutter's genitalia at the film's climax is a clear indication of the white man's oppression of the African-American, and indeed a slap in the face to their struggle over the past two hundred years. However the film shows that African-Americans are not vicious like their white oppressors, as Cutter throws Rane out of the plane, in effect setting him free, and showing that even though it has taken generations to overcome the problems white men have caused for African-Americans, they are not in the least bit vicious.

I wasn't annoyed at all. But I thought that the triple kicking to the groin was abit unrealistic, I mean unless he had a suspensor made by steel then yeah.

What a fantastically hilarious point to make. Brilliant, that had me creasing up.

It had never really dawned on me but yes this has so much ball smashing that it deserves to be listed under the Tennis section.
