OK, so like a load of other 90s actioners its a "Die Hard on an X" film. But for me, this is a funny, slick and very entertaining slice of mindless action. Its one of those films you can go back to again and again, and its always good craic.

Great villains, a superb score from Stanley Clarke, Snipes on top form and some great photography. Also none of your CGI action crap here, just pure stunt work.

Who else loves this movie?

Yes it's excellent. Not quite up there with some other ones from the 90s, but very good all the same.

love this film, too.it's a classic action movie of the early 90s.

Oh, I agree. I used to, and still, love it.

OK, it might follow the ABC formula of late 80's/early 90's action films but it does it with such aplomb.

A great bad guy, Snipes is on top form and the opening score from Stanley Clarke is just next level. That bass man!

It so rocks that I had to just get it on iTunes yesterday evening.

I was alternating between that and the fabulous theme for Who Dares Wins/The Final Option.

It's the ones that plays over the cool opening film title as the camera pans along the x-ray images before zooming in on Charles Rane's passport photo.
