Hans Gruber (Die Hard) vs. Charles Rane (P-57)

The sleek cinematic (and egocentric) white terrorist, both have similar attitudes and similar adversaries. How do they differ or compare? Who was smarter? Who is tougher?

reply

You might as well compare Citizen Kane to Weekend At Bernie's.

I'm not a troll. What you see above is what I actually feel. Take it or leave it, bub.

Rane (Payne) can definitely fight people. It was never shown if Gruber could, who I kind of thought was a metro sexual wussy. He only seemed to hide behind a gun, but was an intelligent man. Its a toss up.

In a gun fight, Hans vs. Rane??????????

I saw you breaking the 5th Commandment. Congress passes these things for a reason.

reply

Hans Gruber. The question of this topic practically doesn't even need thiking about.

reply

Rane for me.

I think he can certainly fight and fire a gun and his "if you don't want to wear your seatbelts, you don't have to" line is just priceless.

Hans gruber hands down. The other dude was like thrush, an irratating cu nt.

your opinion is the wrong one!

Even though I love Passenger 57, it's gotta be Hans Gruber for me. Charles Rane was good but, in a real life situation, you'd just sorta tell him to *beep* off if he started any pish...whereas I'd be scared to look sideways at Hans Gruber.
