The sleek cinematic (and egocentric) white terrorist, both have similar attitudes and similar adversaries. How do they differ or compare? Who was smarter? Who is tougher?

Rane (Payne) can definitely fight people. It was never shown if Gruber could, who I kind of thought was a metro sexual wussy. He only seemed to hide behind a gun, but was an intelligent man. Its a toss up.

Rane for me.

I think he can certainly fight and fire a gun and his "if you don't want to wear your seatbelts, you don't have to" line is just priceless.

Even though I love Passenger 57, it's gotta be Hans Gruber for me. Charles Rane was good but, in a real life situation, you'd just sorta tell him to *beep* off if he started any pish...whereas I'd be scared to look sideways at Hans Gruber.
