shareRemember what USA fashion was like back then (OK in '92 it was fading but this was the tail end). That reference to the Arsenio Hall show is another clue what small era this movie belongs to. Damn the 80s started out with so much cool music and fashion and movies, then turned to crap in the late 80s when it finally took the "grunge" movement to re-boot things. The plastic-faced fake eyebrow light-skinned Michael Jackson looking stewardess (excuse me, airline attendant) was just a reflection of that period. The KennyG-esque soundtrack, the MD80 aircraft, the whole "woo-woo-woo!" thing. Pretty awful.
shareHurley is very very attractive but there is absolutely nothing ugly about Alex, she is very attractive. I seriously can't believe people think she's ugly and looks like MJ. Then again, there are people that believe Anne Hathsway and looks MJ. I don't see it at all.
