its funny you posted this message. I literally just got seeing this movie on Starz for the first time in like 8 years and I was saying the same thing to my girlfriend. The lead lady is ugly as hell. I wish Elizabeth Hurley had more parts in it, she is gorgeous.

I can’t stand it when Wesley Snipes was in love with Alex Datcher when the obvious woman to go for was Elizabeth Hurley.

The worst behavior was Bruce Payne! He seems to be flirting around with Alex Datcher when his girl friend Elizabeth Hurley was around. Elizabeth Hurley took all the trouble and risk to organize a gang to try to save him. She could have run away with all his money and live happily ever after.

It was early 1990's, she was staring in crap like Boomerang and Strictly Business. Her small roles in Last Boy Scout and Jungle Fever were great though

damn, i hope you guys don't think she was ugly because she was black because then that's just plain sad....

....adding on to that, i'm guessing the director or movie producers or whatever were thinking that there shouldn't be interracial love because the audience would be shocked or something so they let a black woman play as the co-star; know any good looking black ladies?

on the other hand, i do agree with you guys that hurley was very pretty, especially as a terrorist.. =)

As soon as I saw her that's exactly what I thought: "OMG, she looks just like Michael Jackson!! Creepy!" What we have to remember, though, is that Michael Jackson didn't look like that in 1992, when the movie came out.

And I didn't think she was that pretty, either, but I probably wouldn't really have thought much about it without the resemblance to MJ.

I wouldn't say she was ugly. I've seen worse. But she DOES look a bit like Mike in this movie. She doesn't in other things though. They put too much powder on her face she looks really bright compared to how she looks on other things.

I'm in a worse hitting slump then Juan Encarnacion's (formally of the Cincy Reds) record setting 0 for 42 hitless streak. That being said I would for sure play some pelvic pinocle in the sheets with her.

I mean she does have a bit of an MJ look, but we can work around that. At least it's early 90s MJ and not white, mr. potato head (nose detachable) MJ.
