Dodgy editing
I never noticed this until I watched the blu ray, but at the point where Cutter and Marti take the elevator down (after Douglas is shot) the door doesn't shut properly, then there's a quick edit to a closed door as Rane appears. and yes, Marti does look like Michael Jackson. They must have used the same plastic surgeon.
