Manager or Hitting Coach???
At the end of the movie we see Jack has made it back to the States as a coach for the Tigers. But was he supposed to be Manager, or was he the hitting coach? I feel like the movie was trying to make it seem like he was the Manager, but it would make more sense for him to start out as a hitting coach. Especially sense he had just retired and was known as a great slugger, but not one to do much physical training.
