Why do 80s movies get such low ratings on here? Complete BS - maybe its an age gap thing, but this, while maybe not gone with the wind is a fun film that definitely deserves a higher rating. Movies like Coming to America and Robocop have such low ratings on here its ridiculous.
share"Mr. Baseball" is deserving of a 5. Wonderful in capturing the real Japanese baseball fans stadium experience but the romance plot & aspects of Selleck's character & his story arc were simplistic and hackneyed. As was the heavy handed, facile "honor" plot point with the manager.
Can't dis "Robocop" though...it was prophetic, kinetic propulsive fun... most of it's director Paul Verhoeven films are very entertaining.
5.9 now so at least it went up.
