She has no understanding of ice hockey (born and raised in England), but she loved it so much that she insisted that we have to watch the sequels next.

We don't have hockey in the Philippines as well but this and its sequels were a hit in the Philippines. Everyone in school had the jerseys (is that the right word?), Bags, jackets, caps of TMD.

Yep! Probably very little ice hockey gets played in SE Asia, lol.

We had an ice rink in 1 mall that opened and everyone flocked and tried to play ice hockey .

I also forgot buying roller blades with hockey sticks became popular but they were sooooo expensive especially the ones from the US.

To be fair, Great Britain did win gold in ice hockey in the Olympics. It was in 1936, but still.
